           Cathy grew up in the homebuilding business, her father the leading custom homebuilder for their region of the country in Nebraska.  She has two sons.

           Cathy has a broad range of experience in the business world with her first job out of college as a Flight Attendant for Northwest Orient Airlines in Minneapolis, MN.  She then went on to sales with Control Data/Commercial Credit Corporation in Dallas, TX and later into training where she conducted workshops on Creative Thinking, Time Management, and Management Skills.   After moving to the DC area, Cathy joined MCI Telecommunications as a Special Projects Assistant and served in this capacity until the birth of her first son.  Shortly thereafter, Cathy chose to stay home with her son and became a licensed family daycare provider and served in this capacity for the next six years until her second son was three years of age.

           Although licensed in real estate since 1986 and working part-time in real estate for several years, Cathy's lifelong dream of a "career" in real estate began in April 2000.  She began her career in New Homes sales where her sales volume was $10 million her first year.  She went on to serve as an Exclusive Buyer's Agent to New Home Buyers and to her current role as Broker/Owner of Signature Home Sales, LLC in Frederick, Maryland, currently serving both sellers and buyers, with a specialty in New Homes.
